Delete your IR Cars account

This page explains how to delete your IR Cars account and what happens to your data, without needing the app installed — as required by Google Play's account-deletion policy.

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to ircars.office@gmail.com from the same phone number your account uses, or include that phone number in your message, and state that you want your IR Cars account deleted. We will verify the request and process it within 10 business days.

What gets deleted

Your account and its sign-in credentials.
Your profile (name, photo).
Your listings, draft listings, and their photos.
Your favourites and saved searches.

What we may retain, and why

Security and abuse-prevention records (e.g. rate-limit and authentication event logs) for a limited period, to protect the platform and other users.
Records we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires.
A dealer company's listings, if the deleted account owned a registered dealer company profile. These are not personal data about you — they are the business's inventory — and are preserved and reassigned to a new responsible party rather than deleted, so real buyers and renters are not misled by cars that silently disappear. Your own personal account data is still deleted in full.

Timing

Deleting your account in the app immediately unpublishes your listings and removes your personally identifying profile fields. The account itself, and everything else it owns, is permanently deleted after a short grace period (currently 30 days), during which you can cancel the request from the same in-app screen if you change your mind. Requests made through this page follow the same process once verified.
