Terms of Use — IR Cars

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the IR Cars app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. The IR Cars service

IR Cars is a platform that lets users:

• browse and search vehicle listings
• view full vehicle details and photos
• contact the seller, dealer, or company behind a listing
• create an account
• upload and manage their own vehicle listings, where permitted
• use rental and installment-related features on listings that offer them

IR Cars offers exactly two kinds of listing: rental and installment. IR Cars does not sell vehicles, is not a party to any transaction between users, and does not itself own the vehicles shown in the app unless a listing explicitly says an IR Cars-operated account is the seller/dealer. We do not hold funds, take deposits, or provide financing.

3. User accounts

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials (your phone number and password) secure.
• You must not use an account to impersonate another person or company, or misrepresent your relationship to a vehicle, dealer, or company.
• IR Cars may restrict or suspend an account that violates these Terms or applicable law, or to protect users, listings, or the platform (Section 10).
• You may request account deletion at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account in the app, or through our external Account Deletion page. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what deletion does.

4. Vehicle listings

If you submit a listing — as an individual seller, dealer, or company — you are responsible for:

• the accuracy of the listing information you provide (vehicle specifications, price, availability, rental or installment terms)
• the photographs you upload, which must be of the actual vehicle and must not be altered to hide or misrepresent its condition, damage, mileage, or identity
• having the ownership or authorization needed to list the vehicle
• writing a truthful, non-misleading description

You must not upload misleading, fraudulent, illegal, or unauthorized listings. Every listing is reviewed by IR Cars before publication; we may approve, reject, request changes to, suspend, or remove a listing at our discretion. A rejection includes a reason, and you may edit and resubmit.

5. Photos and user content

You may upload vehicle photographs, a profile photo, and (for dealers/companies) a company logo and cover image. You must have the necessary rights or permission to upload this content, and you must not upload:

• illegal or fraudulent content
• abusive or harassing content
• copyrighted material you do not have permission to use
• private information belonging to another person
• misleading vehicle photographs or information

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You grant IR Cars only the rights necessary to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and showing your listing or profile within the app — we do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Marketplace disclaimer

IR Cars is a platform connecting users with vehicle listings. Listing information — vehicle condition, ownership, mileage, accident history, mechanical condition, price, and availability — is provided by the seller, dealer, or company who created the listing, not verified by IR Cars unless a specific feature (such as a "verified seller" badge) explicitly says otherwise. You are responsible for your own diligence before agreeing to any transaction.

7. Rental and installment listings

• Availability and terms vary by listing and are set by the seller, dealer, or company who created it.
• Any rental price, deposit, mileage limit, driver requirement, installment schedule, down payment, or monthly estimate shown in the app is set by that listing and should be confirmed directly with the relevant party before you agree to anything.
• IR Cars does not automatically guarantee financing, credit approval, or a rental booking.

8. VIP / featured listings

IR Cars may promote certain approved listings to a "VIP" or featured placement at IR Cars' discretion. VIP status is a paid or editorially-selected visibility feature only — it does not mean a vehicle is safer, better maintained, verified, or specifically recommended by IR Cars over any other listing.

9. Prohibited use

You must not use IR Cars to:

• commit fraud or attempt to defraud another user
• impersonate any person, dealer, or company
• attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
• engage in malicious or harmful activity, including attempts to disrupt or bypass the app's security
• create fake, duplicate, or misleading listings or accounts
• spam, harass, or abuse other users
• upload unlawful content

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or remove an account or listing that violates these Terms, poses a security risk, facilitates abuse, or is required by applicable law, at our discretion. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.

11. Intellectual property

The IR Cars application, its branding, logo, software, and design are owned by IR Cars and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. User-uploaded content remains subject to the rights of whoever created or owns it (Section 5); IR Cars receives only the license described there.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app's features change. Material changes will be made available through the app and on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, without prejudice to any mandatory protections that apply to you under your local law.

14. Related policies

Depending on how you use IR Cars, companion policies also apply: the Seller Terms, the Car Rental Disclaimer, the Installment / Financing Disclaimer, the User-Generated Content Policy, the Reporting Policy, and the Cookie Notice.
